LD-4 covers a large area including NW Maricopa County and two-thirds of Yavapai County. Its farthermost boundaries extend from south of I-10 up to Prescott, and from the western most Maricopa County boundary to I-17. There are approximately 140,000 voters in LD-4 in Maricopa County alone, with about 66,700 of those being Republicans. It is the largest Legislative District in Arizona as far as Registered Republicans.

Legislative District 4 Republicans Chairman Bob Burges has
announced that LD4 Precinct Committeemen endorsed a slate of Republican
candidates presented by the Executive Board during the July meeting.

Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Chairman Tom
Husband has announced that the MCRC will be hosting a July 16 county-wide
Republican Candidates Forum at the Legend
Springs School,
21150 N. Arrowhead Loop Road,
Glendale.
The forum is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. featuring Incumbent
County Attorney Andrew Thomas, Incumbent County Assessor Keith Russell and
candidate Kevin Ross; Incumbent County Treasurer Hos Hoskins, Incumbent
Recorder Helen Purcell, and County School Superintendent Candidate Don
Covey. Maricopa County Sheriff Incumbent Joe Arpaio will not be in attendance
due to other commitments.
